First, I have to let you know that I am pro-life in all circumstances. I'm pro-mother and pro-baby. I don't judge anyone who has had an abortion or who has considered having an abortion. That's between you, your baby, your conscience and your "maker".

My heart aches for those who have had an abortion before learning all the facts; before listening to all sides; and especially before realizing that today may be the worst day of your life and making important decisions like abortion based on today's situation could guarantee a future of anguish and self-recrimination. You don't deserve that. And your baby doesn't deserve a death sentence because it's an inconvenient intrusion on your life. If you're sexually active, be sexually responsible.

Important Note: At 20 weeks gestation (the 5th and 6th month of a pregnancy!), a baby can survive outside the womb, and with modern technology, this is changing rapidly, and survival may be possible earlier than the specified 20 weeks.

The partial-birth abortion technique is used in pregnancies of 20 weeks or more. This is not only inhuman, it is murder.

And don't try to excuse or kid yourself into believing the baby is an inanimate object, without human senses - The Baby FEELS the pain of being cut into pieces.

Every touch of the forceps; every slice of the scissors causes pain. Are you immune to pain and suffering? Could you cut off your finger and not feel it? Could you stand by and watch as someone methodically dismembered a friend - simply because they wanted to and because they could - without any legal or moral recourse?

The difference between a baby being brutally dismembered and you or I having a leg or arm removed is quite obvious to me: the baby is totally defenseless. A family pet has more rights than the unborn child.

This is a human being at all stages of pregnancy. The baby moves, smiles, hiccups, takes in nourishment and eliminates waste; hears what we hear; responds to our emotions... the baby even bleeds red blood, just like you and I. How can we not call this a human being with human rights?

Please think long and hard before you decide to murder another Human Being, because that's exactly what abortion is, only it's legalized murder. Talk with your friends and family; ask your doctor for all the information he has available. More often than not, women who have had abortions live to regret their decisions and carry guilt with them for years. You owe it to yourself to get all the fact before making such a permanent decision.

About "Dilation and Evacuation" (D&E) Dismemberment Abortions
At the same developmental stage at which most partial-birth abortions are performed -- in the fifth and sixth months -- many unborn children are killed with a different abortion method called "dilation and evacuation" ("D&E"). This procedure is not only painful to the unborn child, but it is barbaric and brutal, as depicted in a series of illustrations produced by a professional medical art firm.

We encourage everyone to educate themselves and others regarding the abortion / partial-birth abortion procedure. Please.
